Review of Supernaturally by Kiersten White

When I read Paranormalcy, the first of this saga, I was impressed I really really liked that book, so my expectations about reading Supernaturally where very high; so I was a bit dissapointed, I think it is a good book, but not even close as good as the first one. Evie has lost part of her charm she is not as funny as use to be; Lend is lovely as always, but something is kind of missing in that relation; the problems with faery world still there, but you can not see where is the problem, so it's difficult to understand, the story has nothing to do with the first part, and it's kind of absurd.

Still its a good writting, you are able to see escenarios, not the best book of this summer, but if you liked the first one, you must read this one.

I hope to have something better to say on the third of this saga.

Reseña Supernaturally de Kiersten White.

Cuando lei Paranormalcy, el primero en esta saga, quede encantada, en realidad no fue leido, pues fue en audio libro, Supernaturally fue e-book, y probablemente ahi fue donde perdio algo de su encanto. El libro al igual que el anterior, es entretenido, sin embargo perdio varias de sus caracteristicas tan encantadoras, Eve, deja el sarcasmo fuera, y las situaciones antes divertidas ahora solo son absurdas; insisto el libro es bueno y si te engancho el primero vale la pena que leas el segundo solo para poder llegar con continuidad al tercero. En breve resumen, la historia continua, la "hermana" de Eve esta como en un coma, en el que solo Eve puede hablar con ella, Lend sigue tan encantador como siempre; y los raros problemas con las hadas continuan, no hay nada extraordinario, la trama es algo absurda y no tiene nada que ver con la historia anterior; y si bien entretiene, no es el mejor libro de este verano para mi. Lo recomiendo a medias y si lo lees y te gusta, espero tus comentarios para ver si puedo cambiar de opinion, ya que de verdad quisiera tener ganas de leer el ultimo en la saga.

Y como ya es costumbre, ya ha pasado tiempo desde mi ultimo post, pero prometo que este fin encontraras algunas noticias y reseñas por aqui. Empezaremos la mañana con algo de musica. Yo se que para ahora, la mayoria de ustedes conocen a Adele, pero para mi es bastante nueva (la acabo de descubrir lol) y escuche esta cancion que me encanto!!, y quiero compartirla contigo, disfrutala!!

Evie is as normal as she can think, meaning that she works for the IPCA, International Paranormal Containment Agency, she tracks paranormals, and put them in the correct place. Never she though she could be one of those paranormals. Until, well, now.I loved this book, as I mention before, this was my very first audio book and I loved it, the narrator made a great job, right now, I can not read the book without listening to the voices in my own head. It is crazy but I like it.

The book is told in a first person and a present tense which I think it was the best way of doing it, Evie is a very young woman, and all her feelings and thoughts, are shared best this way. While you go trough the story, you get involved in all the mistery surrounding Evie, and you get to understand her, but must of all to care about her, she is such a nice girl with noble and innocent feelings and she seems to be all alone.

And then there is Lend, a misterious guy, a paranormal guy, who enters to IPCA offices without permission, he es is so polite and unique, that Evie, and myself, cannot resist feeling attracted to him.

The story tell us about some antique fairy legend that involves Evie in some way, and that is the cause of many paranormals dying.

So we have romance, mistery and action, what else could we need.

I strongly recommend you this book, a must read definitely and I give to it 5 Crazy Book Cats.

Así SUPERNATURALLY es el segundo en la trilogía Paranormalcy; Paranormalcy fue lanzado el 2010 y totalmente fue uno de mis favoritos, también éste fue mi primer audiolibro, y debo decir que la narraodra hizo un excelente hizo trabajo, me encantó el libro, Me encantó la historia y me encantò escucharlo.

Así que aquí estoy para escribir sobre el segundo de esta trilogía, que saldra el 26 de Julio de este año.

Mucho ha cambiado en los seis meses desde que Evie se escapó de la Agencia Internacional Paranormal con su novio shape shifter, Lend. Finalmente, tiene la vida felizmente normal que siempre ha soñado:
1) Una verdadera escuela secundaria
2) Un trabajo comun y corriente después de clases
3) Su propio casillero (y por cierto, de metal oxidado, que es tan impresionante como ella se imaginaba)

Pero el pasado no tan normale de Evie, se mantiene cerca ... y las cosas se complican bastante cuando se toma en cuenta:
1) Un vampiro acosador, de siglos de antigûedad
2) Un loco ex-novio hada, que es el portador perpetuo de noticias realmente malas
3) Y una gran batalla entre hadas, en donde el premio resulta ser ... Evie.

So SUPERNATURALLY is the second on the Paranormalcy Trilogy; Paranormalcy was released on 2010, and it totally was one of my favorites, also this one my first audio book, and have to say that the reader make an amazing job; I loved the book, I loved the story and I totally loved listening to it.


So here I am to write about the second one of this trilogy, which is comming out on July the 26.

A lot has changed in the six months since Evie escaped from the International Paranormal Containment Agency with her shape-shifter boyfriend, Lend. She finally has the blissfully normal life she’s always dreamed of, including:
1) A real live high school
2) A perfectly ordinary after-school job
3) Her very own locker (and by the way, rusted metal is every bit as awesome as she imagined)

But Evie’s not-so-normal past keeps creeping up on her...and things get pretty complicated when you factor in:
1) A centuries-old, seriously decaying vampire stalker
2) A crazy faerie ex-boyfriend who is the perpetual bearer of really bad news
3) A major battle brewing between the faerie courts where the prize in question happens to be...Evie herself.

So much for normal.

LOL, this is not exactly a new feature, but since I've been listening to this band for a while now, and I really like them I thought it would be nice to share them with you, maybe you already know them, but if not, then here they are:


An alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2002. The band comprises lead vocalist and guitarist Brian Aubert, vocalist and bassist Nikki Monninger, drummer Christopher Guanlao and keyboardist Joe Lester.

The band released their debut EP, Pikul, in July 2005, and their debut full-length album, Carnavas, on July 26, 2006. Their second full length album, Swoon, was released on April 14, 2009.

Silversun Pickups lanzó su primer EP, titulado Pikul, en julio del 2005.

El primer álbum de la banda, llamado Carnavas, fue lanzado el 26 de julio de 2006. Este álbum corresponde al primer LP del grupo.

La agrupación finalizó el 9 de diciembre de 2006 una gira de conciertos como teloneros de los australianos Wolfmother. Además acompañaron a OK Go y Snow Patrol en una gira por Estados Unidos, la cual finalizó el 10 de abril de 2007.

El 27 de abril del mismo año, la banda se presentó en el Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, formando parte del cartel de dicho festival de música realizado en Indio, California, Estados Unidos.

El tema de Lazy Eye Aparece en los videojuegos Guitar Hero: World Tour y Rock Band 2.

Hola, es increible lo ausente que he estado ultimamente, y al mismo tiempo es super triste. Review Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare.

I waited a lot for this book, I actually preorder it, but since I buy it from The Book Depository, it took almost a month to arrive home, so it was a very expected book. I was so happy when I got it and so eager to reading it. The cover is gorgeous it totally transport us to the specific era in which this story is settled.
Ok we all know Cassandra Clare and we all know what an amazing and wonderful writer she is, but she really truly surprise you every time. I didn’t want to read this book, because I thought nothing could compere or improve what I read on The Mortal Instruments, definitely I was wrong. Don’t misunderstand me, I totally love and will always do love Clary and Jace, and Magnus and Alec, and everything around TMI, but Clockwork Angel really caught me, the atmosphere of the story, the London Cassie describe us, the darkness in it, the mystery in it, and a bunch of great characters make of this one of my favorite books of the 2010.
Tessa Grey is a young lady that for some tragic circumstances is leaving her life in America to travel to the old, dark and humid London. She is excited and worried at the same time, but knowing she will finally be with her older brother make her feel in some way safer, but things didn’t work out that way; instead she was capture by a couple of terrible women and things get very complicated. Tessa will discover some secrets of her past, will learn not to judge only by the looks, will learn not to trust and will know some people that will turn upside down her world.
As you get into the story, it involves you and you really feel transported to London, to a dark and mysterious city, surrounded by evil creatures and much worst people that will make you feel afraid, no one can help you , and the ones who can don’t completely trust you, that’s Tessa’s reality, and she must deal with it. Here we met Will and Jem best friends, both shadow hunters, both young and attractive men, that for different reasons will feel attracted to Tessa. The tender in Jem, the bravery in Will make them both great main characters, you cannot stop reading about them, you just want to get more.
We also see a so love character from TMI Magnus, and I think this part of his life, make me love him even more. All the other characters on the book are amazing, and I feel like we could have a book just for every character cause all their stories are very interesting, wishing Cassie have tons of time to write about every of them.
The end is such a cliffhanger, I couldn’t believe it was it, and I can hardly wait to read the sequel.
I really, strongly recommend this book to you, and if you haven’t read TMI series, you MUST, for me, Cassandra Clare earn 5 Crazy Book Cats!!

Estoy tan emocionada por este libro, es la ùltima llegado de esta trilogía de Julie Kagawa, quien es una maestra, sus libros estan llenos de accion, romance y sobre todo comedia, sus personajes son entrañables y encantadores. Si no has leido The Iron Daugther y The Irong King, definitivamente debes leerlos para después leer The Iron Queen, en verdad te los recomiendo!!

I must say, I'm so excited about this book, I totally loved the previous ones, The Iron Daugther and The Iron King, you totally should read them both and the must read The Iron Queen. Julie Kagawa is and awesome writer, that full her stories with action, and drama and comedy, is amazing how she is into comedy, her characters are dear and enjoyable, I really recommend this series, don't forget January the 25th this book is going to be release go buy it!!
